I am writing to let you know how absolutely beneficial Debora Hickman's lymphedema course is for the fluid dynamics of our bodies. Stagnation within the lymphatic system delays healing for multiple diagnoses. She is an excellent teacher, knowledgeable in her field, and offers a stimulating course to advance our skills about the lymphatic system. Her classes offer opportunity for problem solving, clinical reasoning, and treatment strategies. I highly recommend health care professionals attend the lymphedema course by Debora Hickman, DPT.
Gail Wetzler, PT, Newport Beach, CA
The lecture on lymphedema was very insightful. I started out with no knowledge on the subject and by the end of her presentation I had learned some very useful information to help me with my future care for patients. It was very educational and informative on how to treat patients with lymphedema. I found the techniques very interesting and research based. The difference that manual lymph drainage has on a person is very significant and worth learning about.
Ruth Lopez, PT student, Loma Linda, California
Debbie Hickman explains the anatomical and foundational basis for treatment and provides tenuous feedback and instruction on hands-on application in order to allow participants to take the techniques into the clinic the next day and provide excellent treatment for patients. Further, she provides research that allows for evidence-based practice!
