DENNIS BUTTIMER, M.ED., CEAP, RYT

Dennis Buttimer, M.Ed, CEAP, RYT, is a counselor/coach in private practice in Atlanta, GA where he works with individuals, couples, and groups through mindfulness training, yoga therapy, counseling and coaching, and various other mind body practices. Dennis has been an avid yoga student since 1990 and received his certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). He has been involved in contemplative practice and practiced meditation for over 35 years. He received dharma transmission in the Thich Nhat Hanh lineage and enjoys leading yoga and meditation retreats for a variety of groups.

In addition to private practice, Dennis enjoys his work as an educator, facilitator, and program developer of various integrative oncology programs at Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta including Men s Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Support Groups for Men and for Couples, Humor, Mind Body practices and Integrative Medicine workshops.

Dennis co-authored his first book CALM: Choosing To Live Mindfully (2011) along with the CD entitled CALM: Guided Meditations. His primary focus is in Integrative Health and Wellness education, facilitation, counseling, and coaching. He is an international professional speaker and co-authors a health and wellness blog, www.allthingsintegrative.com that provides links and reviews to the latest research in the integrative medicine field along with strategies for cultivating optimal health.
Credits listed below are for full attendance at the live event only. After attendance has been verified, pre-registered attendees will receive an email from PESI Customer Service with the subject line, “Evaluation and Certificate” within one week. This email will contain a link to complete the seminar evaluation and allow attendees to print, email or download a certificate of completion if in full attendance. For those in partial attendance (arrived late or left early), a letter of attendance is available through that link and an adjusted certificate of completion reflecting partial credit will be issued within 30 days (if your board allows).
