THOMAS SWEENEY, J.D.

Thomas E. Sweeney, J.D., has practiced exclusively in the health law field for over 20 years. He specializes and lectures in the areas of Medicare and Medicaid enforcement, mental and behavioral health issues, compliance plans, HIPAA privacy regulation, managed care contracting, joint ventures, corporate governance and organization, medical staff matters, and professional licensure.

He formerly was a member of the health law firms of Kalogredis, Tsoules, & Sweeney, Ltd. and Sebastianelli & Tsoules, and was vice president of legal services for the Franciscan Health System. Mr. Sweeney regularly lectures at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's annual Health Law Institute and before a variety of trade organizations, including the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Community Providers Association.
