TOMASZ GRASS, PT, MS, CERT. MDT, COMT, CMP, CKTP, is a licensed physical therapist and co-owner of Beyond Physical Therapy in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (McKenzie method), a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (Maitland concept), a Certified Mulligan Practitioner, and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Mr. Grass earned his Master's degree in 1991 in Physical Education and then a Master's degree in Physical Therapy at the Academy of Physical Education in Poznan, Poland. Since 1993 he has practiced physical therapy in the U.S.A. in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, and nursing homes, where he achieved one of the first certifications in wound care treatment in Tennessee. For the last 14 years, Mr. Grass has been a Clinical Instructor for PTA students from South College, Knoxville, TN, and for 5 years he has been providing internships for students from the Kinesiology program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In his private life, he likes music and is an author of a book about the life and career of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen.
