PAUL STRICKER, MD, FAAP,
is an internationally recognized physician, speaker, educator and author with nearly 25 years of experience. Dr. Stricker is one of a small number of physicians who is board-certified in both sports medicine and pediatrics, and reached a unique and coveted position when he was selected by the Olympic Committee as a physician for the United States team at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He was an All-American swimmer in college, completed pediatrics at Arkansas Children's Hospital, a sports medicine fellowship at UCLA, and was team physician for UCLA and Vanderbilt University. Dr. Stricker is enthusiastic about young people having a positive experience with sports and exercise.
Dr. Stricker previously served as president of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Sports Medicine & Fitness and the editorial Board for Healthy Children
