MICHAEL WILES, MEd, LPC, has spent the past 30 years helping clients develop plans for healthy change. Mr. Wiles has focused his career on working with the difficult client as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Teacher, Public School Counselor, and Psychometrist. His start in education was in the alternative classroom where he worked with students and families that brought many challenges into the classroom. Mr. Wiles co-founded Healing the Past Counseling Center in 1995 which started one of the first domestic violence offenders programs in the state of Oklahoma. The center works primarily in the areas of domestic violence, violent offenders, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders.

As a trained behavioral coach he is effective in helping motivate clients, families, and medical professionals to develop plans for effective change. Mr. Wiles has presented on behavioral issues for the Office of the Attorney General of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Domestic Violence, Kaw Nation, Oklahoma Department of Vocational Technical Education, Rocky Mountain District Council of the AG, Southern New England District Council of the A/G, as well as worked with groups in South and Central America. Mr. Wiles has a passion for keeping abreast of current research and combining this information with effective Motivational Interviewing strategies to help professionals achieve behavioral change in their clients.
