National Rehabilitation Week

20 of Our Top Resources for Rehabilitation Professionals

PESI Team

The National Rehabilitation Awareness Foundation (NRAF) recognizes the third week of September as National Rehabilitation Awareness Week. This week serves as a time to highlight the importance of the work done by dedicated rehabilitation professionals like you. Each patient has their own unique challenges, and you rise to the challenge of effectively customizing treatment plans that not only meet them where they’re at, but also help them reach their goals.

Most people will at some point in their lives require the assistance of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist. Your work provides immeasurable physical and mental benefits: helping people regain movement or independence, return to an activity they love, recover from a major injury, and so much more.

It can’t be stated enough: rehabilitation services strengthen and lengthen lives.

There are many ways to celebrate rehabilitation professionals this week. Here are a few:

  1. Showcase your hard work on social media (don’t be afraid to shout-out a colleague!)
  2. Honor a colleague with a compliment
  3. Add to your professional toolbox with the resources below
  4. Spread the word – share these resources with another professional who could add them to their practice

At PESI Rehab, we recognize the invaluable work done by physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists and strive to provide you with accurate and evidence-based information so you can excel in your field of expertise. Our abundance of resources can help you provide the best care for your clients and community. To help you celebrate National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, we’ve compiled 20 of our favorite resources, including educational videos, blogs, infographics, courses, and certification trainings.
