Course Description:
In healthcare facilities across the country, billions of dollars are being spent annually on the various types of patient wounds. At this time, litigation against health care facilities is growing as a result of nosocomial wounds. Therefore, it is imperative that we provide on-going, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approaches to the care of our patients. In this seminar, you will learn the multiple factors involved in the prevention, assessment, documentation, and management of wounds and skin care in the clinical setting. This knowledge will enable you to use these tools and take a pro-active approach to providing the best possible care for your patients.
